Trevira CS – Flame retardant textiles for air travel

THE FABRIC THAT MAKES FLYING SAFER

We are becoming ever more mobile, increasingly taking to the air for business and leisure. Air passengers require a high-performing environment that is safe and comfortable, so airlines choose textiles that reflect these goals. Trevira CS meets the international air travel safety standards. Offering ideal material properties, it is available for nearly all fields of textile application.

Trevira CS satisfies fire protection standards and also complies with the standards limiting toxic fume emissions. For international air traffic, Trevira CS meets fire protection standard FAR/CS 25.853. In the event of fire, Trevira CS fabrics release practically no toxic fumes, staying well below the permissible limits for toxic fume development set by Airbus Standard ABD 0031.
